​​​​​​​Iran, Mauritania discuss expansion of parliamentary ties

TEHRAN, May 18 (MNA) – Iranian ambassador to Nouakchott Mohammad Omrani and the new head of Iran-Mauritania parliamentary friendship group conferred on expansion of parliamentary ties in the capital of the Northwestern African country.

The two sides held talks on development of bilateral parliamentary ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Republic of Mauritania in this meeting.

The Mauritanian side expressed readiness on part of Iran-Mauritania parliamentary friendship group to pay a visit to Iran to reinforce all out common ties.

In March 2018, Iran and Mauritania signed a cooperation agreement on pharmaceutical production.
