Dispatched envoys’ meetings aim to warn against US dangerous moves

TEHRAN, Jul. 12 (MNA) – Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ghasemi said the recent trips of Iranian special envoys to different countries across the world aim at "spelling out the dangerous and incalculable effects of US unilateral decisions for others."

Ghasemi was referring to US decision to unilaterally and unlawfully withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal, dubbed JCPOA. He went on to add, however, that the world has come to condemn the US move in the face of IAEA reports all confirming Iran's compliance with its nuclear-related commitments under the JCPOA.

Several Iranian special envoys are visiting different countries to deliver the letter of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to his counterparts, including Leader's senior adviser Ali Akbar Velayati, who is in Moscow for a slated meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

All of these visits demonstrate the dynamism and efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran to express its views, safeguard the rights of the Iranian nation and express the latest positions of the country on JCPOA, Ghasemi added.
