Netanyahu’s moves to have no effect on Tehran-Moscow amicable ties

TEHRAN, Jul. 13 (MNA) – Advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in International Affairs and special envoy of the president Ali-Akbar Velayati said that Tehran-Moscow relations are not influenced by measures taken by Israel.

He pointed to the trip of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to Moscow and repetition of his baseless and unfounded claims against Iran, and said, “the development trend of amicable ties between Iran and Russia is reciprocal and will not be affected by the intervention of other countries especially Zionist regime.”

He also pointed to the achievements of his trip to Russia and said, “dispatching the important and strategic messages of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei and President Rouhani to Russian President Vladimir Putin was a turning point in strengthening relationship between Iran and Russia.”

Under the auspicious unity and amity of resistance movement and also Russia as a major political and military power in the international community, resistance movement will undoubtedly be victorious in the region, Velayati emphasized.

We hope that cooperation between Iran and Russia will be considered a model for cooperation between Iran, China, India and some other important East Asian countries, he maintained.

Ali-Akbar Velayati handed separate messages of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei and Iranian President Rouhani to Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Thursday.
