Iran says no EU proposal package received yet

TEHRAN, Jun. 30 (MNA) – Bahram Ghasemi, the Spokesman of Iranian Foreign Ministry, said on Saturday that Iran has not yet received any pro-JCPOA package from EU.

“So far no proposal package of European Union has been delivered to Iran and the member states of the European Union are still exchanging the latest views on proposals and suggestions,” said Bahram Ghasemi, the Spokesman of Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Saturday.

The Iranian diplomat made the remarks after some news were spread quoting EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini saying that EU has offered a pro-JCPOA package to Iran.

“Assuredly, if we receive the package it will be disclosed to the public and we will then officially start the evaluation process on the articles of the package,” asserted the Iranian foreign ministry mouthpiece.

“After weighing the suggestions thoroughly based on national interests and the good of the country, the Islamic Republic of Iran will publicly announce its final say on it and its decision to whether stay in the nuclear agreement or not,” he affirmed.
