Zarif holds phone talks with British, Russian FMs

TEHRAN, Nov. 07 (MNA) – In separate phone talks on Tue., Iran’s Foreign Minister Zarif discussed issues of mutual interest and regional developments with his British and Russian counterparts, Boris Johnson and Sergei Lavrov.

During the talks with Britain’s Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, the two top diplomats conferred on bilateral ties between Tehran and London as well as regional and international issues.

Zarif pointed to Saudi Arabia’s provocative moves in the region, and rejected the false and dangerous claims raised by Saudi officials.

He also said that such claims are against international laws and the UN charter.

Zarif also held a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Tuesday.

During the talks, Zarif and Lavrov conferred on bilateral ties, the legal regime of Caspian Sea, and the latest regional developments.
