Peyman Hosseini wins best goalkeeper title

TEHRAN, Nov. 05 (MNA) – Iranian beach soccer player Peyman Hosseini won the title of the best goalkeeper of Beach Soccer World Cup 2017. He also secured the award for best goal of the year.

The ceremony for choosing the bests of Beach Soccer World Cup 2017 took place Saturday night in Emirates during which Peyman Hosseini, the goalkeeper of Iran’s national beach soccer team won the award for the best goalkeeper of the year.

At first, Hosseini won the best goal of the year award. He secured the goal with an amazing kick while playing against Mexico’s national team. A few minutes later, he was entitled with the best goalkeeper of the year in Beach Soccer World Cup 2017 and received the golden glove award.

Mohammad Hossein Mirshamsi, the former coach of Iranian soccer team, was among the three coaches who were nominated for the best coach title. Eventually, the award went to Gilberto Costa, the coach of Brazil’ national team.
