‘Little Boy’ wins Best Animation award at Veterans filmfest.

TEHRAN, Oct. 19 (MNA) – Australia’s Veterans Film Festival (VFF) dedicated to stories about war awarded Iranian productions ‘Little Boy’ with Best Animation and ‘Red Line’ with Best Music.

‘Little Boy’ directed and written by Mona Shahi won Red Poppy Award for Best Animation at Veterans Film Festival in Australia.

The festival also awarded Red Poppy Award for Best Music to ‘Red Line’ also directed and written by Mona Shahi. The music score was written by Hossein Jalili who received the award.

‘Little Boy’ is a short film about a little boy and a bomb. People are leaving a town by the order of military but a little boy does not want to follow them he has his own mission to do.

'Red Line' takes palce in a desert neverland where a turtle and a lizard unwillingly get involved in a war between two powers. As a result, they both are put in a tough situation. The turtle can solve the problem but his decision comes with a price. 

Veterans Film Festival is dedicated to sharing stories that explore real or imagined perspectives, in and out of war. The VFF presents an annual program that showcases the human experience of the serving and ex-serving military personnel and their families, as well as stories about the influences, impact and the complex situations before, during and after war.
