The 11th round of Iran Zamin Karate Cup convened in Iran’s capital on January 22-23, 2016.
A total of seven foreign teams from Hong Kong, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iraq, South Korea, Georgia and Afghanistan together with three Iranian teams competed for two days in Shahid Afrasiabi Hall.
Iran won the title in the Men’s section followed by Azerbaijan as runner-up as well as Iraq and Hong Kong in third and fourth places, respectively.
Meanwhile, Iran also took the crown in Women’s section followed by Hong Kong and South Korea as second and third teams.
The Iranian outfit came out on top in the overall ranking while Azerbaijan Republic stood on the silver podium walked behind by Iran and Hong Kong in third and fourth spots.
