Held in Semey, Kazakhstan, the Greco-Roman Wrestling tournament was organized in memorial of the merited coach of Republic of Kazakhstan Bolat Turlykhanov.
The tournament was conducted in accordance with the terms of the United World Wrestling in 6 Olympic weight categories and lasted from October 9 to 11.
Iran’s representatives could win two silver and two bronze medals in Bolat Turlykhanov Memorial’s competitions to mark Iran as the fifth team in the final ranking.
Mojtaba Karimfar and Amir Ghasemimonzaji were Iran’s silver winners in 85 and 130 kg respectively while Ramin Taheri in 75 kg and Mahdi Zodashna won silver medals to

85 kg: 1. Nursultan Tursynov (Kazakhstan), 2. Mojtaba Karimfar (Iran), 3. Azamat Kustubayev (Kazakhstan) and Manukyan Maksim (Armenia).
98 kg: 1. Aliksandr Hrabovik (Belarus), 2. Alimkhan Syzdykov (Kazakhstan), 3. Alexey Sidyakin (Russia) and Mehdi Zodashena (Iran).
