JCPOA implementation process satisfactory

TEHRAN, Sep. 30 (MNA) – Senior Iranian nuclear negotiator Seyed Abbas Araghchi expressed hope over the proper implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Elaborating more on the meeting held in UN New York Headquarters to survey proper implementation of JCPOA, Araghchi said on Tuesday Iranian and sextet foreign ministers in their last night meeting emphasized need for elimination of probable obstacles in the way of implementing the JCPOA.

The meeting was attended by foreign ministers of six world states, the EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Monday night.

In that session, Araghchi said, 5+1 foreign ministers and Mogherini expressed satisfaction over the proper implementation of the JCPOA on both sides of the deal during the past two months and expressed hope that after completion of the Iranian Parliament's survey of JCPOA the process of implementing will further accelerate.

Araghchi meanwhile noted that the process of implementing the Iran-IAEA roadmap and IAEA Chief Yukiya Amano's positive evaluation of that process, too, was praised in the session and the need to continue that process till resolving all ambiguities was emphasized.
