Iran to buy water to meet severe water shortage

Rahim Meidani said that the ministry of energy will invest in projects to purchase water to meet severe water shortage in Iran.

He said that the ministry would put restrictions on the high-demand consumers to fine them.

Also the ministry is going to control flowing waters from being wasted.

Cheap prices of water in Iran are the real reason why consumers do not care about consuming water with parsimony; now, however, they face severe shortage due to drought.
