Iran unveils ‘Tadbir’, ‘Persian Gulf’ satellites

TEHRAN, Feb. 3 (MNA) – Iran’s defense minister and vice- President have jointly unveiled on have indigenously developed ‘Tadbir’ and ‘Persian Gulf’ satellites in National Space Technology Day, Monday morning.

Malek-Ashtar University of Technology made ‘Persian Gulf’ satellite which is a wireless based satellite for secure communication services all along the geographical and regional coverage. 

Space Research Center of Iran University of Science and Technology along with Iranian Space Agency Observatory had designed ‘Tadbir’ satellite in five months. This is an upgraded version of ‘Navid’ satellite which will be used for photography.
