Iran not to accept change in geographical borders

Kharrazi, who is on a visit to Yerevan, made the remarks in an address to a gathering of Armenian elites and academics.

In his address, he reaffirmed Iran’s support for independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of regional countries while noting that Tehran will not tolerate any change in geographical borders.

During his stay in Yerevan, Kharrazi has so far met with senior Armenian officials, including Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, to discuss the development of relations between Tehran and Yerevan.

Referring to Iran’s high economic potential, the Iranian diplomat voiced Tehran’s readiness to share experiences with Armenia to help the country’s progress.
