Iranian referees to depart for Qatar to officiate 2022 WC

TEHRAN, Nov. 02 (MNA) – For the second time in a row, a refereeing team from Iran will officiate the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Alireza Faghani, has been chosen as the referee, while Mohammad Reza Abolfazli and Mohammad Reza Mansouri have been chosen as assistant referees in the competition who will leave Tehran for Qatari capital of Doha on Wednesday November 09.

Alireza Faghani is presently in Australia who will leave this country for Doha. 

A total of 36 referees, 69 assistant referees and 24 video match officials (VMOs) have been chosen in close cooperation with the six confederations.
