Iran’s amb. to UK, Labor Party’s leader  discuss global, regional peace, security

TEHRAN, Jun. 19 (MNA) – Iran’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Hamid Baeidinejad held a meeting with the UK Labor Party Jeremy Corbyn to discuss global and regional peace.

Hamid Baeidinejad said in a post on his Twitter account on Monday that in the meeting with Jeremy Corbyn, they had discussed “a wide range of policy issues, including global and regional peace and security as well as non-proliferation and JCPOA.”

Then, the Iranian diplomat expressed his appreciation for Corbyn’s support for world peace, saying “I thank him for his vision and commitment to promote peace.”

He also added that Corbyn had explicit support for preserving Iran nuclear deal.
