Health min. casts vote behind operating room

TEHRAN, Feb. 26 (MNA) – Iran's Health Minister Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi dropped his vote into the mobile ballot box, inside the operating room in Noor Eye Hospital and Clinic.

After Hashemi casted his ballot, he said voting while you serve the people is a duty.

“It does not matter what position or seat you are in, you should vote to contribute and to determine the fate of your country,” he underlined, only a few minutes after he had come out of the operating room.

The election is an opportunity provided by Imam Khomeini, Hashemi said, adding "I am honor that Iran is the first country in the region where people can elect the officials of their country, from the president to Members of Parliament."
