TPOI boosts its supports for technical and engineering exports

TEHRAN, April 16 (MNA) — In addition to its constant encouragements of and supports for the exports of the technical and engineering services by Iranian companies, Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) is planning to arrange for concluding agreements between the domestic companies and the major world producers in the downstream and upstream oil, gas and petrochemical industries, a fax released by the organization quoted deputy trade minister Mojtaba Khosrotaj as saying on Saturday.

The official who was speaking during the inauguration of the 10th International Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Exhibition said, “Given the Fourth Five-Year Development Plan’s focus on the development of those industries that depend upon domestic resources particularly the energy industry, the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran attaches special attention to the development of the downstream and upstream oil, gas and petrochemical industries.”

Referring to the world market’s current peculiarities he stated that, in today’s highly competitive markets in which we are faced with numerous competitors and the markets are controlled by various monopolies, for a number of the durable goods the markets are stagnant or going downhill whereas, for other goods and products they are dynamic, exportable and booming.

Elsewhere in his comments the deputy trade minister asserted that the satisfactory productivity and logical wages of the Iranian engineers are all special privileges that contribute to the participation of domestic companies in the international trade arena.
