Iranian Students in ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest

TEHRAN, Dec. 22 (MNA) – Executive Manager of the 14th West-Asian Regional Programming Contest told reporters that Sharif University of Technology and University of Tehran have been qualified for International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) in Russia.

“Qualifiers Contests for the 14th West-Asian Regional Collegiate Programming Contest were held on Dec. 20 and 21, 2012 in Sharif University of Technology, where 83 teams from 48 universities participated,” said Hamid Zarrabi Zadeh.

He added: “students of Sharif University of Technology held the 1 st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th places in the contest. Tehran and Amir Kabir Industrial Universities also came 5th and 6th, respectively.”

“2 Iranian teams will participate in the International Programming Contest held on June 30-July 4 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.” said Executive Manager of the 14th West Asia Regional Collegiate Programming Contest.
