Key rioters behind last night's unrest detained: Police chief

General Ahmad-Reza Radan, Iran's police chief, told reporters on Sunday that Saturday night was much calmer as compared to the previous nights.

Radan saud that important arrests were made last night and the suspects are handed over to the judicial officials to be punished.

It was also announced earlier on Sunday that as many as 200 members of key rioters and ringleaders who were linked with adversary armed groups had been detained by security forces.
