'Israel' commits new massacre in Gaza City

TEHRAN, Jan. 13 (MNA) – The Israeli regime committed yet another massacre in Gaza City's al-Daraj neighborhood, killing 20 Palestinians in a brutal airstrike, local media reported.

The Israeli occupation is continuing its aggression against the Gaza Strip for the 99th day in a row, launching raids on various areas, killing and injuring of dozens, most of whom are women and children.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli military attacks in the recent hours have resulted in numerous casualties near Gaza City in the north and al-Nuseirat in the center.

In Gaza City's al-Daraj neighborhood, "Israel" committed yet another massacre, killing 20 Palestinians in a brutal airstrike. Near al-Nuseirat, in the al-Dawa neighborhood, Israeli shelling led to a number of casualties, with several still trapped under the rubble, as per our correspondent.

The invading Israeli military targeted a gathering of Palestinians in the Abbas Kilani area in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, killing three Palestinians and injuring several others, Al Mayadeen's report added.

Furthermore, the report added, that Israeli strikes targeted areas in Maghazi and Deir al-Balah, resulting in the killing and injury of several Palestinians.

Gaza is experiencing another communications blackout, where the destruction in some sectors has exceeded 80%.

The lack of communication and infrastructure damage has hindered teams in their rescue and assistance efforts for citizens during the bombings. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported on several occasions a complete loss of communication, with its teams operating in Gaza, exacerbating the humanitarian challenges.

"Israel" has been on trial for the past two days for its war crimes before the International Court of Justice. However, its killing rampage seems to show no sign of abating in Gaza.

Gaza's Health Ministry reported, on Saturday, that the total number of martyrs in Gaza has increased to 23,843, while the number of wounded has exceeded 60,000.
