Shooting in capital of Chechen Republic leaves three dead

TEHRAN, Dec. 28 (MNA) – Three people, including two police officers, were killed in a terrorist attack in the Chechen capital and subsequent shootings on Monday.

Two terrorists with knives, who tried to take away weapons from police officers in Russia's Grozny, were eliminated and subsequently, two police officers were killed, Sputnik reported.

Two police officers and one assailant were killed during an exchange of fire between terrorists and police.

The identity of attackers is still unknown. The police have cordoned off the crime scene and launched an investigation into the matter.
