Missiles have given 'veto power' to Iran in strategic regional issues

TEHRAN, Dec. 04 (MNA) – Chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iranian Parliament Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh said Tue. that missiles have given Iran an ‘unparalleled veto power’ in strategic issues in the region.

Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh made the remark on Tuesday after a meeting with the IRGC Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh at the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iranian Parliament.

Falahatpisheh said the meeting was centered on the importance of IRGC missile power, today’s achievements and the future plans and Iran's role in the region.”

He said that the IRGC Aerospace Force has good cooperation with the Parliament, especially in relation to budgeting issues.

The senior lawmaker also noted “missiles have given Iran an ‘unparalleled veto power’ in strategic issues in the region.”

He went on attach great importance to Iran’s capabilities to manufacture drones, saying "in this area, Iran is leading many powers on the world stage.”

“No planes, even the US planes, are immune against Iran’s air defense,” the lawmaker added.

Falahatpisheh also announced that the members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission will pay a visit to Arak heavy water complex.
