Afghanistan to allow imports of Iranian goods to Farah province

TEHRAN, Nov. 04(MNA) – The head of Afghan Customs Department (ACD) has ordered to remove restrictions on the imports of Iranian goods to the Province of Farah.

The imports of Iranian commodities to Afghan Farah province have been allowed to resume after the head of Afghan Customs Department (ACD) sent an order to the province's authorities.

In a letter to the Farah province, the head of Afghan Customs Department (ACD) has ordered to resume the imports of Iranian goods through Abu Nasr Farahi border crossing, which is located between northeastern Iranian city of Birjand and Afghan Farah province.

The order stressed that the imports through the Abu Nasr Farahi crossing can be resumed after observing customs precedures. Meanwhile, the letter stipulates that the causes such as smuggling and other irregularities that led to the halt should be resolved.
