The Da Vinci Diamond, an award named after the illustrious painter and universal genius Leonardo da Vinci, is intended to acknowledge, show gratitude and reward individuals who have been distinguished in their respective fields and whose works contributed to the advancement of society, be it local or international.
The International Biographical Center has been compiling and publishing the achievements of prominent people worldwide for more than 40 years, and the Da Vinci Diamond is its latest initiative.
This is the first time that an Iranian has won the award, which will be presented to her in the year 2006.
“Farideh Khalatbari is being awarded the Da Vinci Diamond for her activities as an author, publisher, and expert in the field of international publications and for her other cultural experiences,” reads a part of the jury statement.
Khalatbari has a Ph.D. in international tax law and a master’s degree in trade.
