Six Iranian sailors rescued after 3 months struggle on water

TEHRAN, May. 26 (MNA) – A group of 6 sailors whose boat had sunk 3 months ago were saved by Kenyan Police after they struggled for their lives for three months.

Kenyan Police found and rescued a group of six Iranian sailors on Indian Ocean. The sailors were on water for three months after their fishing launch sank.

The sailors will be returned to their families in Iran after the legal procedures are observed and they are handed to Iran’s embassy in Kenya.

Iran’s embassy in Kenya immediately contacted Kenyan Police and foreign ministry upon hearing the news.

The essential needs of the rescued sailors like food, clothes, bed sheets, and other necessities were bought by Iran’s embassy in Kenya and handed to the police. The arrangements have been made to let doctors visit the sailors.
