Terrorists breach Syria’s ceasefire agreement 501 times since Feb.

LATTAKIA, May 09 (MNA) – Terrorist organizations breached cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria 6 times in the last 24 hours, to raise the total number of breaches to 501 since last February, Russian coordination center has said.

The cessation of hostilities agreement, which came into effect on 27 February, does not include “Jabhat al-Nusra”, “ISIL” terrorist organizations and other groups listed by the UN as terrorist organizations.

The center, based in Hemeimim airbase, said in a statement on Sunday, that 4 breaches were observed in Damascus and two in Aleppo, pointing out that terrorists of the so called “Jaish al-Islam” shelled 4 times military posts in Damascus with mortar rounds, and the two neighborhoods of al-Zahra'a and al-Khalediya in Aleppo with rocket shells.

On the other hand, the Russian center indicated that the towns that have joined the cessation of hostilities agreement reached 95.

Terrorists of “Jabhat al-Nusra” continued their aggression against military positions in Aleppo vicinity and targeted al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood and al-Nayrab military airport in Aleppo city twice with rocket launchers, the center said.
