JCPOA provides ground for Iran-Malaysia coop.

TEHRAN, Jan. 26 (MNA) – Iran’s Ambassador to Malaysia Marzieh Afkham said the implementation of JCPOA during the post-sanction era would remove barriers to the development of bilateral cooperation.

She made the remarks in a meeting with the Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of the Parliament of Malaysia, Pandikar Amin bin Haji Mulia in Malaysia on Tuseday.

Pointing to Iran's good relations with Malaysia, especially in the parliamentary field, Afkham welcomed the development of bilateral relations in various political, economic and commercial fields.

She conveyed greetings of Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani to Mr. bin Haji and called Iran-Malaysia parliamentary friendship group formed last year an opportunity for representatives of the two countries to consult ways to expand mutual relations.

Iranian ambassador went on to say that the new space created after the implementation of JCPOA and sanctions lift has removed barriers on the way of the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Pandikar Amin bin Haji, for his part, expressed satisfaction with the relations between parliaments of the two countries.

Pandikar said the Islamic Republic of Iran with a long cultural history has managed to remove obstacles ahead with exercising patience, resistance and God’s help.
