Most US citizens oppose Trump's plan on Muslims

WASHINGTON, Dec. 12 (MNA) – 57% of US citizens disagree with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's proposal to bar Muslims from entering the country, revealed a poll released by the local media Friday.

According to the national NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, the real state businessman's proposal to ban Muslims from entering the United States had the support of 25 percent of the surveyed.

The study also reveals that 60 percent of the surveyed has a positive opinion of the Muslims, but warned that half of voters at the Republican primary elections have a negative opinion about Muslims.

In fact, 38 percent of Republican primary voters support Trump's ideas, while, 39 percent oppose.

Trump's proposal to veto the arrival of Muslims immediately caused a big rejection in the United States and abroad, with criticism from the White, the United Nations, and different world leaders.
