Iranian film My Mother’s Blue Sky directed by Ali Ghavitan will participate at the 45th edition of Giffoni Children Film Festival to be held in Italy from July 17 to 26, 2015.
Giffoni International Film Festival is held in three sections of feature films, short films and documentary. Ghavitan’s film will compete with other productions from Australia, Belgium, France, Denmark, and Germany in the feature film section.
The Giffoni International Film Festival is the largest children’s film festival in Europe.
Each year, over 3,000 children attend the festival from some 50 countries around the world to judge the films and award the best titles.
In this year’s edition, only 98 films out of the submitted 4200 will be screened and compete at the festival.
