Parl. presents new bill on final N-deal

TEHRAN, Jun. 17 (MNA) – Iranian Parliament gave a priority to a new bill on the government's commitment to protecting nuclear rights and achievements today.

Amended by the National Security Commission, the bill consists of three articles and two notes and is considered to validate a deal which is in line with protecting national interests and compliance with NPT safeguards agreement.

The final result of talks between Iran and 5+1 is valid only in case following requirements are met transparently:

1. Sanctions should be entirely removed as soon as a comprehensive agreement would take effect.

2. Within the framework of decisions made by Supreme National Security Council, the IAEA is authorized to perform conventional inspections of nuclear sites. Access to non-nuclear military, sensitive and security sites, as well as any kind of interview with scientists is prohibited.

3. No restrictions are acceptable for achievement of nuclear science and technology.

Note 1: According to principles 77 and 125 of the Constitution, the negotiations have to be presented to the Parliament to check for its accordance with the constitution and the existing laws.

Note 2: Iranian foreign minister is responsible to report the process of implementation of the agreement to the Parliament every six months. National Security and Foreign Policy Commission will provide a report on the implementation of the agreement to the members of the Parliament every six months.

Voting on the new bill, 185 Members of the Parliament accepted to give priority to the bill.
