Iran holds drills to protect nuclear facilities

TEHRAN, Aug. 25 (MNA) – Head of AEOI has praised Islamic Republic military forces over downing an Israeli spy drone near Natanz nuclear facilities.

Aliakbar Salehi on Monday, in inauguration ceremony of Special Exhibition on Preventing Industrial Sabotage told journalists that Iran military awareness and intelligence with prompt action proves that enemy’s objectives have all failed.

Salehi pointed to a ground drill in one of the country’s nuclear facilities and an aerial drill in another one – neither in Natanz – and asserted that “the experience of the maneuver is invaluable for security and protection of nuclear facilities and we assured people that everything is going well.”

Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran added that inauguration of Special Exhibition on Preventing Industrial Sabotage introduces diverse kinds of methods and mechanisms used to sabotage nuclear facilities.

Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace forces downed an Israeli drone near Natanz nuclear facility Sunday evening.
