The festival is being organized to introduce tourists to the culture, traditions, costumes, and unique architecture of the village.

The village of Masuleh is located about 75 minutes from the city of Rasht.
The houses of the village are built on terraces on the side of a rocky mountain. Houses hug the cliffs, rising vertically upward. The rooftops of the lower houses form the streets and patios of houses located at higher elevations.
Masuleh is situated in a mountainous area of great natural beauty covered with lush vegetation and luxuriant forests. The ancient village is like a living architectural and anthropological museum and attracts a great number of tourists each year.
