Rape prevention official arrested for sexual assault

TEHRAN, May 7 (MNA) – A US Air Force officer in charge of preventing sexual assaults program has been arrested for sexual assault on a woman.

 Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Krusinski, 41, head of the Air Force's sexual assault prevention and response program, after drinking, attacks a woman and sexually assaulted her in the parking lot, according to a police report from Arlington, Virginia, just outside the US Capital.

Police said: "the victim fought the suspect off as he attempted to touch her again and alerted police." Air Force officials confirmed to AFP that Krusinski was head of the service's prevention program and said he has been removed from his post until the investigation of sexual assault case is completed.
