Moradi Kermani (born September 7, 1944) is an eminent Iranian writer of books for children and teenagers. The 22nd edition of his “Stories of Majid” by Moin Publications recently hit Iran’s book market, the Persian service of ISNA reported.
Also available at the market is a book named “Second Hushang”, which is a biography of author Hushang Moradi Kermani written by Karim Feizi. The book narrates the story of the writer after he arrives in the capital city of Tehran.
Several Iranian movies and TV-series have been based on his works. In 2006, Dariush Mehrjuii directed “Mom’s Guest” based on his novel by the same title.
A number of Moradi Kermani’s books have been translated into English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Arabic, and Armenian. His autobiography has been published under the title “Believe It or Not”.
