2% drop in educational stagnation of Iranian students

TEHRAN, June 5 (MNA) – The educational stagnation of junior high school students have decreased by 2% in the country over the past academic year of 1387-88 (2008-2009), said an official at the Ministry of Education here on Sunday.

According to Manouchehr Fazli Khani, the stagnation in education mostly occurs at the first year of junior and senior high schools.

 

The educational stagnation of junior high school students have reduced from about 5% in the academic year of 1385-86 (2007-2008) to 3% in the academic year of 1387-88 (2008-2009), Fazli Khani added, expressing hope that the rate would decline further in the near future.
