Iran's consulate in Damascus resumes operation after 4 days

TEHRAN, Apr. 06 (MNA) – The Consular section of the Iranian Embassy in the Syrian capital of Damascus has resumed its activities after four days of a halt due to the Israeli regime’s terrorist attack against the diplomatic mission.

The new building of the consular section of the Iranian Embassy next to the previous destroyed building resumed its operation on Saturday after a four-day hiatus since the terrorist attack by the Zionist Israeli regime.

The consular section of the Iranian embassy is one of the twin buildings of the Islamic Republic of Iran's embassy in Syria's Damascus, which was completely destroyed last Monday in the Zionist regime's missile attack.

13 people were martyred in the terrorist attack, including 7 Iranian military advisors who are helping the Syrian government's military in fighting the terrorist groups.
