Fresh attack reported on US base in northern Iraq

Media sources reported on Wednesday that several strong explosions were heard in the north of Iraq.

The sources also said that the explosions were caused by attacks on US military base “Al-Harir” in Iraq's Erbil.

 Earlier on Sunday, a media outlet affiliated with Resistance forces in Iraq reported an attack on the US military base “Al-Harir” located in Erbil province in the north.

The media outlet said the same day that the Islamic Resistance of Iraq has claimed responsibility for this attack.

In a separate incident, the Lebanese Al Mayadeen news network, which is close to Resistance groups reported an attack on the US military base situated in the “Al-Omar” oil field in the northeast of Deir Ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
