In separate messages sent to his counterparts in the Muslim nations, Jahangiri described the Holy Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) as a harbinger of love, freedom, equality and brotherhood, patience and tolerance for a happy life and said, “under the auspices of the birth anniversary of Messenger of God Hazrat Muhammad, it is hoped that the world will witness strengthening pillars of brotherhood among Muslims in the world as well as spread of peace, security and stability across the globe, especially in Islamic countries.”
He further invited Muslims in the Islamic countries to practice unity and amity.
Prophet of Islam (PBUH) was born on the 17th day of the lunar calendar month of Rabi-ul-Awwal in 570 CE. This year, the day falls on Sunday, November 25.
