Minutes ago, US vetoed the UN Security Council resolution on Al-Quds (Jerusalem) that rejects the establishment of diplomatic facilities in the contested city of Jerusalem.
Nikki Haley the US envoy to UN had promised the veto earlier today.
The move comes less than two weeks after Washington moved to recognize the holy city as Israeli regime's capital and begin the process to move its embassy there from Tel Aviv.
