The conference will be held January 1-2 in Iran University of Science and Technology which will have in its focus gas, combined-cycle, and steam power plants.
The 6th edition of the conference will have as its main themes topics as ‘power plant construction and equipment manufacturing technology,’ ‘main and auxiliary facilities,’ ‘modelling,’ ‘control,’ ‘protection and instrumentation,’ ‘operation, repair and maintenance,’ ‘fuel and combustion,’ ‘erosion and chemical engineering,’ and ‘material engineering.’
The conference will accept papers on ‘scattered and renewable energies,’ ‘electricity production, sales, and market management,’ ‘environment and reduction of pollutants,’ ‘training and human resource development,’ and ‘investment, provision, and management of resources.’
Conference seeks the following objectives: production and promotion of power plant industry, publicizing scientific and technological achievements of national industry of power plant construction in academia, exchange of technical and scientific findings in thermal power plant construction, sharing experiences gained by domestic experts and other major figures in industry, and transfer of the latest cutting-edge technology from international contractors to country. Papers will be received until November 6 and will be due in full by December 21.
