Iranian fact-sheet under drafting: Zarif

TEHRAN, Apr. 15 (MNA) – Iran’s Javad Zarif has told Mehr News Iranian fact-sheet is under drafting as recommended by the Leader.

Mohammad Javad Zarif responded some questions by Mehr News on Tuesday about nuclear negotiations and recent Lausanne joint statement. “The Leader told us to prepare our own version of the Lausanne joint statement (called by the US officials as ‘fact-sheet’) as they did; we put together opinions and a summary of it would be published,” Zarif told Mehr News.

“On Leader’s demand that we inform the public about details of the joint statement as well as the critics of the joint statement; in line with this demand, my deputies and I have participated in many TV programs as well as attending other sessions to provide the details; however, our number is limited and we should not necessarily attend every and each session to talk to the organizers of those sessions in universities and elsewhere,” Zarif emphasized, however, admiting that informing the public was quite important.

“Our major mission is to bring the negotiations to a definite outcome; I would participate in other programs yet to explain more about the statement, as I responded a total of 37 questions in state TV station in a two-and-half-an-hour session out of the commitment to the nation,” Zarif emphasized.
