The event will feature competition in all five aquatics disciplines: diving, swimming, open water swimming, synchronized swimming and water polo.
Iranian swimmers Mohammad Alirezaei, Saeid Ashtiani, Emin Noshadi, Mohammad Bidarian and Pasha Vahdati will represent Islamic Republic in the tournament.
“Iranian swimmers are well-prepared for the FINA World Championship. They took part in the two training camp in Bulgaria and Croatia and are fully ready to have a good performance in the competitions,” Behzad Mehdi Khabbazian, Iran’s coach said.
A record 2556 athletes from 185 countries will be participating in the 13th FINA World Championship.
