Ali Kbar Velayati, the Senior Advisor on International Affairs to the Leader of Iran, made the remarks at a ceremony at Islamic Azad University in Tehran to commemorate Student’s Day (16 Azar or Dec. 7) saying “the future of Yemen will be decided by the people of Yemen themselves.”
“The Yemeni people have been under regular aerial bombings of the Saudi regime for more than two years while defending their country,” he added.
“Ali Abdullah Saleh was killed and United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia conspiracy was foiled by the people of Yemen. The people will determine their own fate and they will win like the people of Syria, Iraq and Lebanon,” the Supreme Leader advisor concluded.
