Ali Sharif Azam said that production of the medicine has made Iran self-sufficient and has led to the localization of the technical knowledge, IRNA reported.
"Great efforts have been made during the past two years in the country for the operation of the production line of Penicillin G which was realized due to the efforts of domestic experts and local knowledge," Sharif Azam said, pointing to the importance of antibiotics in the defensive section of the medicine.
