Social media users have posted an image of an Israeli soldier standing next to a tank in Gaza, holding a tank shell with a sign that reads "In Memory of Charlie Kirk," the American right-wing activist who was shot dead a few days ago in the United States.
The move is part of a growing trend among Israeli soldiers and pro-Israel Jewish activists around the world to write their names or the faces of their loved ones on shells used in attacks on civilians, children and women in Gaza.
Charlie Kirk was a staunch supporter of the Israeli regime and Donald Trump. He had traveled to the occupied territories many times and defended Israel's attacks on Gaza. Kirk also denied the genocide and famine caused by Israel in Gaza.
