Turkey's ties with Iran 'valuable'

TEHRAN, Oct. 30 (MNA) – Iranian Minister of Industries, Mining and Trade Mohammad Shariatmadari said Iran attaches value to the relations with Turkey.

The Iranian official made the remark while speaking at the ceremony for the 94th anniversary of Turkey’s Republic Day.

Shariatmadari went on to say “over the past few years, political, cultural and social relations between Iran and Turkey have been progressive the leaders of the two countries are resolute to further develop relations. I hope we can expand economic interactions alongside political and cultural interactions as well.”

He also touched upon the 30-billion-dollar trade volume envisioned in the economic transactions between the two countries.

Toward the end of his speech, Shariatmadari congratulated the people of government of Turkey on their national day.
