Brussels to host 2nd Iran-Europe economic, technological coop. conference

TEHRAN, Jun. 18 (MNA) – The 2nd International Iran-Europe Economic and Technological Conference will be held on June 21-22, 2018 with the aim of countering Iranophobia project after the US withdrawal from Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Head of the Center for International Interactions in Science and Technology of Vice Presidency of Science and Technology Ali-Morteza Birang made the above remark and pointed to the 2nd International Iran-Europe Economic and Technological Conference in Belgian capital Brussels and said, “countering Iranophobia project following the US pullout from JCPOA and also standing against the United States’ policies as chief violator of JCPOA has been cited as the main aim behind organizing the Conference.”

US controversy has led many European companies to take precautionary measures in working with Iran especially after the US President Trump pulled his country out of JCPOA, he reiterated.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Birang said, top officials from Belgium and EU commissioners have been invited to take part in this edition of Conference and knowledge-based companies will also partake in the Conference strongly.

In this prestigious Conference, high-profile policymakers and senior CEO of Iranian and European companies will exchange their views in the new horizons of cooperation, identification of existing capacities and potentials in line with booming economy as well as specifying promising outlooks at the current condition.

 The first edition of the Conference was held three years ago in Austrian capital Vienna, he ended.
