Iranian animation goes to Montréal filmfest.

TEHRAN, Mar. 06 (MNA) – Short animated piece ‘The Shadow which Turned into Light’ directed by Nazanin Sobhan Sarbandi will compete at the main competition section of Montréal International Children's Film Festival (FIFEM) in Canada.

‘The Shadow which Turned into Light’ is Sobhan’s latest production which tells the story of the shadow of the puppeteer which realizes that it is no longer interested in following him and wants to continue with the play and during struggle between them something happens which changes their way of life.

The 20th edition of Montréal International Children's Film Festival (FIFEM) will be held in the Canadian city on 4-12 March 2017.

The Iranian animation will compete with other titles from Belgium, France, Brazil, New Zealand, Canada, Switzerland and Spain.

Montréal International Children's Film Festival (FIFEM) aims to promote quality films from around the world to 2 to 12 year-old audience and their family members.
