Iran Manager Ivankovic Set To Step Down

TEHRAN, August 6 (MNA) – Iran’s Croat trainer Branko Ivankovic Thursday said he will part company with the squad as the 13th Asian Cup ends in the Chinese capital Beijing.

The 5-year-old, who said his contract will expire next month added he is considering training a club rather than a national time.

 

He said, “The interval at club competitions is short and you do not have to wait one month to field your team.”

 

Iran stood third at the 13th edition of the Asian tournament with a 4-2 victory over Bahrain.
