In a post on his X account on Friday, Mohsen Rezaei wrote, “The United States, and Israel want to drown the Iranian nation in insecurity like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya. The position of the foolish US President Donald Trump is in this direction.”
"Any hostile action will destroy the Zionist regime, the US bases, and regional stability. This time it will be different," he reiterated.
His remarks came as US President Donald Trump on Friday issued a new threat against Iran, claiming that Washington is “locked and loaded” and ready to intervene should Iranian authorities allegedly use violence against protesters.
Trump's remarks drew harsh criticiam from Iranian authorities.
